AdobeFireworks_Butterfly

This is a project I made in adobe fireworks. I made this butterfly by first starting off with a canvas of 5x5 inches with a resolution of 200. I made my first background green, second background black and the last background a tan color. I then made the flower by making a stem out of a long rectangle and using the sub select tool to reform it to make it look like a stem a little more. I made the black bulb by taking a circle and using the sub selection tool to reform it and make it look like where the flower starts. I then made the flower puddles by making a circle and using the sub selection tool to reform it to make a peddle. I individually made each peddle and used the scale tool to rotate it around the middle of the flower. After I made the peddles i made smaller peddles and colored them purple and put them under the bigger peddles. For the leafs on the stem I made a circle and used the sub selection tool to reform it to look like a leaf. I used the pencil tool and sketched in the veins of the leaf. Moving on to the butterfly body I used a circle and the sub selection tool to make it look like a butterfly body and I colored it grey. For the head I did the same thing but formed it to look like a head of a butterfly. I started out with a circle for the wings and used the sub selection tool to form it to look like wings and did the same thing to the bottom wing and colored them both black. I rearranged them to fir on the butterfly body. For the details of the wing I used a circle and used the sub selection tool and formed it to look like the details on a butterfly's wing. I did the same for the other parts of the wing and I colored them yellow. For the red details on the outer edge of the wing i used a circle and again used the sub selection tool but this time I made the circles smaller to fit on the outer edge of the wings. For the antenna on the head I used the pencil tool. One more thing to add to make it look like a framed picture is lines on the edges of the background. I put my name so people know who made the picture. Last I made the sun by using the pie shape tool and formed it to look like the sun and made small rectangles to look like the radiation of the sun.
